“Who’s in charge here?” That vexing question echoes across class rooms and family rooms.
The proper answer is: God, who loves justice. In fact, speaking through the prophet Amos, the Spirit declares: “But let justice roll down like waters and righteousness like an ever-flowing
stream.”
Almost 16 million adolescents Americans-including 70% to 95% of inner-city youth-have witnessed criminal activity: robbery, stabbing, shooting, murder, or
domestic abuse [see AMA, Youth and Violence]. Among boys, 42% of high schoolers
and 32% of middle schoolers believe it is okay to hit or threaten a person who
makes them angry.
Is there a correlation between the increase in injustice and the seeping out of
God from our school districts and national government while laws to restrict
parental decision-making rise up on all sides? These changes are not without
effect as the statistics show. The Father has devoted proper instruction, such
as 2 Timothy 3:16-17, to reverse these trends. For with God nothing will be
impossible. Throughout time, He has used people for His good plan that the
enemy meant for evil.

Consistency is key.
Our classes provide time for Believers of all ages to hear the Word of God and
receive the necessary or needed spiritual energy, support, and encouragement to
continue "to walk by faith and not by sight." Spiritual development is
absolutely vital in order to maximize the abundant life available to God’s children. The great apostle Paul said: “When I was a child, I spoke like a child, thought like a child, and reasoned
like a child. When I became a man, I gave up my childish ways.” Being a child and then becoming a man; as well as being translated from
oppression to freedom, and moving from a society that tolerates injustice to
one that upholds justice, points to a process learned and power acquired
through consistent attention to and application of the Word of God over what we
speak, believe, and think-and finally, how we act. To learn more, please email classes@icnhm.org today.
