“So he answered and said to me: “This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ says the LORD of hosts.”
Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the
breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of
the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will
be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of
salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
This presentation of divine protection takes the stance that, although we engage
in spiritual warfare against the enemy, we are covered “head-to-toe” with weapons of superior advantage. You rule over adversity! To maintain -and grow- your advantage, you must love others. Why? Because love never fails. When you
walk in love, your weapons remain “armed and battle-ready,” powered by God (who is Love).
Focus yourself on the Kingdom; ignore everything else. This decreases anxiety
and increases your trust in God.

“But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the
Holy Spirit,”
By now, you may be wondering, if the King is back in His Kingdom, who is helping
us on Earth. Jesus said: “but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me.” The disciples didn’t have to wait long - and you don’t have to wait at all if you are ready to receive the Helper we all need.
If you prayed The Prayer of Salvation, The Holy Spirit was standing right next to you. If you pray the Prayer for Receiving The Holy Spirit, likewise, He will be alongside you. The outcome of the first prayer is a
reborn spirit able to stand in God’s presence without any sense of fear or guilt. The outcome of the second prayer
is, among other blessings, a private prayer language to communicate directly
with God. This language “builds us up” in faith. You pray ... you see results ... you become more confident in the
power of prayer. Praying in the spirit is a two-way exchange which the enemy
can neither understand nor stop, and this makes it uniquely better than prayers
in English.
